Our mission
CoArt Market is a marketplace of physical art and collectibles. It addresses two problems of this market: fakes, where a copy is passed off as the object shown, and an unclear history of ownership. Before an object's certificate is created, a person at CoArt Market reviews it. Where CoArt Market has recorded an object's digital fingerprint, the buyer can check the delivered object against it, and the fingerprint is stored encrypted in the object's certificate. From the day its certificate is created, every change of owner on CoArt Market is added to the object's public provenance ledger. The parties' legal names and contact details are not published.
Today whole objects are bought and sold on CoArt Market, each with its certificate. Fractional ownership campaigns in Europe open as soon as we obtain the regulatory approvals they require.

Every object has its own cryptographic certificate. It keeps the evidence that passed review and the record of the object's owners.
